Kinetos Labs Pty Ltd is an independent software company established in Melbourne, Australia, in 2026. We build practical, AI-powered software for career development, productivity, and personal growth.
Our first product, NextOrbit, grew from firsthand experience of redundancy and the modern job search.
Why we built NextOrbit
After more than 15 years of experience across healthcare and clinical trials, an organisational restructure brought an unexpected return to the job market.
The search for a new role quickly became difficult to manage. Resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, company research, interview notes, and follow-up tasks were scattered across folders and documents.
When an employer called, finding the exact resume and cover letter submitted for that particular role was harder than it should have been.
NextOrbit began as a way to bring everything together. It created a focused workspace for each opportunity, making it easier to find documents, understand what had been submitted, prepare for conversations, and keep applications moving.
Being better organised made the search more manageable. Resume tailoring and ATS scans provided additional support by helping genuine experience align more clearly with each role.
It soon became apparent that the same tools could help other job seekers—particularly people unexpectedly facing redundancy and working to regain momentum.

NextOrbit helps users identify relevant career evidence, articulate their experience clearly, and create documents that recruiters and applicant tracking systems can understand.
It does not fabricate qualifications or experience. Users remain in control and can review and edit their information before using it.
Our approach is informed by professional experience with AI governance and a belief that responsible AI requires transparency, human oversight, and purposeful design.
